    A 12-miles walk up Helvellyn via Red Tarn and Swirrel Edge.
    Descent including Nethermost Pike and Dollywagon Pike down to Grisedale Tarn and then slowly down the long Grisedale Valley
    03c: Lake District - Great Gable
    GREAT GABLE - Monday, April 20th, 2009
    Climb start 10.15am - finish 5.30pm. Photoa by Michelle or Jonny are identified by (M/J)
    6 mile trip - up Sour Milk Gill to the desolate Gillercombe valley, up Green Gable then into Windy Gap and up the rocky climb to the summit. Rapid descent straight down Great Gable to Styhead Tarn and Stockley Bridge
    03d: Lake District - Place Fell
    PLACE FELL, Ullswater, Friday, June 26th, 2009.
    Lesser-known mountain that lies just to the east of Ullswater and affords lovely views of the Helvellyn and High Street mountain ranges.
    7½ miles in total finishing with walk down the eastern shores of Ullswater

    The RSPCA held a dog show at Shibden Park, Halifax, on Thursday, July 23rd, 2009.

    This rather baren volcanic island has a lovely warm climate and, as well as fine beaches, there are many sights to see

    An absolute must to visit - Venice is totally beautiful, unique and romantic. These images were taken on a three-day visit during May 2005 - with beautiful hot sunny days
